Contract terms
Terms and conditions
Applicable to listing publication and internal messaging services provided on Provec motors.
Last updated: May 11, 2026Payable by card via Stripe before the listing goes online, valid for 90 days.
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Provec motors to users of the website: account creation, publication of classic or leisure vehicle listings, and internal messaging.
Provec motors acts as a technical platform connecting buyers and sellers. Provec motors does not own the listed vehicles and is not a party to the sale agreement concluded between the buyer and the seller.
2. Acceptance of the terms
Use of paid services implies full acceptance of these terms. Users must read them before paying for a listing publication.
Provec motors may update these terms. The applicable terms are those in force when the relevant service is ordered.
3. Listing publication
Publication of a listing is charged at 14.90 EUR including VAT per listing. Payment is made by bank card via Stripe. The listing is created and then published after payment confirmation by the payment provider.
Each listing remains online for 90 days from its publication date. At the end of this period, it is automatically removed from public display unless removed earlier by Provec motors or deleted by the seller.
The seller undertakes to provide accurate, fair and sufficiently complete information: description, price, location, photos, vehicle condition, available documents and any element likely to influence a buyer's decision.
Provec motors may refuse, suspend or remove any listing that is manifestly inaccurate, unlawful, fraudulent, contrary to the purpose of the site or infringing the rights of third parties.
4. Internal messaging
Internal messaging allows users to communicate about a listing. Users must not send insulting, fraudulent, unlawful, unsolicited advertising or third-party rights-infringing content.
The terms of sale, payment for the vehicle, delivery, inspection and transfer are agreed directly between the buyer and the seller, under their sole responsibility.
Provec motors may restrict access to messaging or to an account in the event of abuse, fraud, identity misuse or behaviour contrary to the spirit of the service.
5. Seller obligations
The seller warrants that they are authorised to offer the vehicle for sale and that they hold the information needed for its transfer. The seller remains solely responsible for the vehicle, its availability, price, condition, documents provided and proper completion of the sale.
The seller undertakes not to publish misleading, impersonated, discriminatory or unlawful listings. The seller must inform the buyer of any known defect, administrative restriction, retention of title, accident history, major modification or unavailability of the vehicle.
6. Buyer obligations
The buyer must verify the information in the listing, ask the seller useful questions, arrange any necessary inspections and ensure that the vehicle meets their needs before making a commitment.
The buyer remains solely responsible for their checks, commitments toward the seller and the payment method agreed with the seller.
7. Right of withdrawal and performance of the service
Listing publication is a digital service performed at the user's request after payment. When the user requests immediate publication of the listing, the service may be considered fully performed once the listing is effectively published.
A cancellation or refund request may be sent via the contact page. Provec motors will review it in light of the service performance status, the existence of a technical error or a publication that has not yet been completed.
8. Liability
Provec motors provides a publication and connection platform. Provec motors cannot be held liable for information provided by users, the actual condition of a vehicle, the absence of a completed sale or any dispute arising from the transfer of the vehicle between buyer and seller.
Provec motors uses reasonable means to ensure website availability, without guaranteeing permanent or uninterrupted access, particularly in the event of maintenance, technical incident, third-party provider intervention or force majeure.
9. Personal data
The data collected is used to create accounts, publish listings, enable exchanges between users, monitor publication payments and process support requests. Publication payment data is processed by Stripe under its own security terms.
For any request relating to personal data, users may contact Provec motors via the website contact page.
10. Claims and disputes
Any claim should first be sent via the contact page, indicating the relevant account, the listing concerned and the information needed to understand the request.
Failing amicable resolution, these terms are governed by French law. The applicable jurisdiction rules will be determined according to the status of the parties and the legal provisions in force.
